About Richardson, TX - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Richardson, Texas is a major city within Dallas and Collin Counties. As of 2015, the city was home to over 106,000 residents. This affluent, Dallas suburb is home to the University of Texas at Dallas. The Telecom Corridor is also found here, which is a high concentration of telecommunication companies, including the headquarters of AT7T, Verizon, DirectTV, Samsung, Texas Instruments, and many others. Despite these organizations, the largest employment base here actually comes from insurance companies, with headquarters of GEICO and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas also located in the community. With all of the growth in Richardson, healthcare is critical, so Methodist Richardson Medical Center now operates two campuses in the city.

Richardson is a family-friendly city with plenty of things to do. Outdoor recreation is plentiful at Prairie Creek Park, Breckinridge Park, and Spring Creek Nature Area. Adventure Landing Dallas offers family entertainment, and adults in need of a night out might like to taste some of the local brews at Four Bullets Brewery. There are also many unique restaurants here, including Olive Burger, Jeng Chi, and Afrah Mediterranean Restaurant and Pastries.

Weather conditions in Richardson can be extreme at different parts of the year. The summer season is the best example, with high temperatures reaching well into the upper-90s. Storms with tornadoes are also common, so it is important to control indoor temperatures when outdoor conditions are so unpredictable. A heat pump can provide both heating and cooling, but many residents choose a central air conditioner instead. These systems are quiet and inconspicuous, as the bulk of the unit will be located outside of the home.

Winter conditions in Richardson also require climate controls but for different reasons. At times, low temperatures will fall into the 30s, and while snowfall is minimal, the right precautions must be in place. A furnace operated by gas, oil, or electricity can keep interior conditions warm despite outdoor weather conditions.
